The Oldbury Reserve Shiraz was created by choosing only the best fruit from selected vines. In order to preserve its amazing intensity, we conducted an extensive cold maceration and slow fermentation. Later, the wine was transferred and aged in French and American oak for 20 months, achieving a robust and elegant shiraz. This Shiraz has plenty of dark chocolate, cacao, black cherry, dusty truffles, liquorice and traces of peppercorn. The palate is broad and firm.
This wine would be best served with turkey, roast beef, barbeques and pate de foie gras.
